Troubleshoot a workflow

Start with the environment, request ID, template ID, and time of the failed operation. Follow the path that matches the last confirmed step.

401 or sign-in failure	Matching environment, key/account status, and Bearer header
403	Required scope, organization role, or plan entitlement named by the error
Template missing	Organization, environment, ID, and selected version
Literal placeholder text	Exact case-sensitive dot path and the data sent, not just sample data
Empty/rejected each directive	Array exists, is an array, and has child blocks; empty arrays render no children
Table missing	Correct table type, array path, column configuration, and compiled output
Send failed	Connected workspace, valid destination ID, private-channel membership, and credits
Button did nothing	Message sent through LithoBlocks, action config present, referenced destination/modal still active
Modal will not open	Active modal version, valid data bindings, and compiled view limits
Modal closed but receiver has nothing	Submission receipt and asynchronous component outcome
Schedule/digest waiting	Due time, timezone, conditions, queue state, and execution history
Receiver timeout	Receiver logs and operation/receipt ID; delivery may be uncertain

Fix template data

Use supported placeholder syntax. Array access uses dot notation; text fields do not execute inline Handlebars loops. Inspect sample data and the actual request side by side, then validate with the same input.

Fix Slack or interaction delivery

Review the connection under Integrations. Public-channel posting depends on the granted scope; private channels require membership. Check Slack setup. Review destinations under Webhooks. Verify the URL, method, headers, active state, and payload variable names. Inspect each webhook and update component separately. Before resending after a timeout, reconcile the receiver and Slack outcome. Preserve the original idempotency key and body for a retry; changing keys can duplicate an action.

Ask for help

Send support the environment, timestamp, request ID, resource IDs, error code, and steps to reproduce with synthetic data. Redact credentials and personal form values. Logs explains which history to inspect.
