A component is a saved group of template blocks. Use it for repeated headers, footers, status panels, and action layouts.

Save and insert

  1. Build and preview the blocks in a template.
  2. Use the block menu’s Save as Component action and provide a descriptive name.
  3. Choose the appropriate personal/shared visibility.
  4. In another template, browse components and insert the selected component.
  5. Supply the expected placeholder data, review action IDs and destinations, then preview and save.
Insertion copies the blocks into the target template with new block identities. It is not a live dependency: editing or deleting the library component does not automatically update copies already inserted into templates.

Manage the library

Open Components to search and filter personal/shared entries and delete obsolete components. Do not rely on the Duplicate control as a supported workflow in this revision; save a new component from the intended blocks instead. Document the expected data shape in the component description. Shared content should use synthetic sample values and must not embed credentials or organization-specific receiver secrets. Template lifecycle · Placeholders
