# Send a template from Slack

> Use the lb-send slash command to open the template-send workflow inside Slack.

With LithoBlocks installed in your workspace, enter `/lb-send` in Slack. The command opens the template-send workflow, where you choose a template and provide the data it needs.

## Before you start

Connect the intended workspace and ensure your Slack identity has the required LithoBlocks access. An admin or owner can review command configuration under **Organization** → **Slack Commands**. The installation needs the Slack `commands` scope.

## Send and verify

1. Run `/lb-send` in a test conversation.
2. Follow the form to select a template and enter its input values.
3. Review the destination before submitting.
4. Check the resulting Slack message and the related usage record.

If Slack does not recognize the command, check the installed app and workspace. If a template is missing or access is refused, check the linked identity, organization, and template state. Reconnect when the installation lacks the command scope.
